Responsibility

Amélioré recognises its responsibility as a brand to mitigate its impact, which is why each product is designed for longevity and produced responsibly. The highest quality materials are carefully chosen for their durability.

All products are hand made locally to order, preventing waste and surplus stock. The cloth is sourced from traditional, socially responsible fabric mills in Scotland and Italy. The bouclé wool fabric is made in Scotland, reducing carbon emissions and the cushion filling is made of 100% eco English balled wool, a by-product (wool noil) of the wool processing system.

Fabric offcuts are used for patchwork styles, covered buttons and small pieces are shredded and added to the filling.

Amélioré uses eco-friendly paper wrap, swing tags and mailers.
