Founded in London in 2022, Amélioré was born from a desire to bring playful modernity and comfort to the homeware category. Inspired by art and modernist 20th-century design, notably Noguchi, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, Amélioré’s elevated, timeless and tactile cushions combine simplicity of form with a richness of texture – all made for living and to last.

The luxurious wool bouclé is sourced from a traditional fabric mill on the Isle of Bute, Scotland. It is made of 97% wool and 3% nylon; which is blended for durability and adding length of life to the fabric. The soft cotton velvet corduroy is sourced from a traditional fabric mill in Italy. Made of 100% pure cotton, it is incredibly hardwearing and versatile.

Since launching, Amélioré has embodied an honest commitment to uncompromising quality, rejecting rapid trend cycles by designing for longevity and producing responsibly. Each made to order cushion is individually handcrafted in South London. The full collection comprises of British eco wool filled sculptural bouclé and soft corduroy cushions for the home, designed to help people live in more thoughtful and beautiful ways.
